Feel FOMO or want to feel JOMO!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're having a Great Day/Night!

In this blog, I'm going to discuss: the fear of missing (Fomo)

and (Jomo): The joy of missing out, and why looking at both sides is important!

If this is something that interests you in any way, I hope you stick around.

The definition of ( FOMO) is fear of missing out but have you ever heard the term (JOMO) which means Joy of missing out and how you can embrace it.

when you go through Fomo usually it's not the most pleasant or positive experience, but reminding yourself that Jomo suggests feeling content and being able to disconnect with the outside world and be in tune with yourself more cognitively.

Also when understanding FOMO, make sure to take a step back and take deep breaths. There's no use stressing about it.

On the weekends that I have nothing planned. I get excited about them because I can cook for myself, walk, take care of myself and recharge my energies. This is me practicing Jomo and It's the best!

The most meaningful thing to do when you feel FOMO is to let yourself feel your feelings and always validate your emotions, no matter what.

I'm not going to lie, sometimes I've wanted to do something new or feel like I'm missing out on something exciting and it wasn't in the cards. And that's ok! Then I remember there's joy in missing out. Such as, being able to enjoy my own company and how I chose to spend my night.

If you choose to be content and grateful no matter where you go. Jomo is for you. You leave more room for love and positivity!

Thank you for reading! Hope you enjoyed this blog.

Till next time.
