One Wedding and One Funeral
I haven't blogged or written a piece for this place a bit. In one weekend I had my grandfather's funeral and a close friend's wedding.
it was a prime example of giving yourself the room to feel love, adoration, joy, mourning, loss, anguish, friendship and support.
Being at the wedding helped me see that I can feel and dance while also experiencing loss and grief.
To be alive is to mourn, but also enjoy, to feel but also be alive, to scream but also be in triumph.
No guide or book tells how to deal or cope with a loss in your family or how you should feel or act about it.
He will never be forgotten, Every memory will be cherished.
Give into connection, celebration and communication.
When you give more room for grief and loss, you give more room for love and joy to showcase.
You can be as multi-emotional as you want and need.
Surround yourself with people who truly want the best for you.
Being close to my family, friends and boyfriend has been very moving and the support and love they have shown always feels so endlessly overpouring.
I'm grateful for everyone in my life.
Everyone will be taking their time to learn and adjust at this time.
Witnessing and being a part of the start and the end of a chapter is something
I will hold dear to my heart till the end of my days.
With much love,
Isabella D'Angelo
